This was an excellent wedding. Everything was beautiful and perfect and it's one of those weddings that you'd want to see done over again and again, which is saying something since none of it involved my crazy family. And, well, maybe that's why it was so excellent.
Just kidding, family.
There they are. Oh my, look at them. It's sweet, right?
And there they go.
I'd use the word "beautiful" over and over and over...
We were seated right next to the cake, which was fortunate. I didn't eat any cake, which seems unfortunate. Only, by the time the cake was cut, it was probably fortunate that I didn't eat any...soo...
Head table.
I'm a huge fan of the orders of weddings here. First there was a cocktail hour, then we went inside while the wedding part was announced. Then they had the first dance.
The colors were also beautiful. And the bride was beautiful. And the mansion where the reception was held was beautiful.
They danced to "The Luckiest" by Ben Folds.
After that we had pumpkin soup and the night could have ended there and I'd have been happy. But it kept going and it's a good thing because the food got better, the dancing got better, the drinks got better, and the drinks got better.
We took this at the end of the night and we were tired and sweaty but we are still really, really good looking.
The moral is everything and everyone was absolutely beautiful and way more people should have Christmas weddings.
